“I approached the exchange with Recom in Vienna with an open mind, eager to learn about their team, agency, and working methods. My primary goal was to gain new perspectives on my tasks and approaches, and to draw inspiration for Wilde Relocation.

Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome from the team. I had the chance to speak with each employee about their roles and responsibilities, ask questions, and accompany them on appointments. Highlights included a First-time-meeting with a client at a hotel, an apartment tour, and visits to various departments of the Vienna Immigration Office, all of which were highly informative. The team's habit of cooking and eating together in the office fostered a unifying and personal atmosphere, which I greatly appreciated.

I particularly like the idea of Club Melange, an informal gathering in a Viennese coffee house that offers expats the opportunity to meet like-minded people, exchange knowledge and experiences and make new friends.
